Fun events to attend to as well. Rent monthly is cheap and doesn’t cost you an arm and leg like other places in Ames.

It is a decent size, fairly up to date, and has a few bonuses such as the fireplace and internet speed. The main downside is being on the 3rd floor. Not fun moving in or bringing up groceries. Our neighbors are a mixed bag of nice and friendly, extremely quiet, and a bit rowdy. Occasional unpleasant odors in the hallways and loud music and yelling from below us, but that is somewhat expected. Overall it has been a good experience so far, and my wife and I enjoy living here.

The staff at The Social are the best Very friendly and outgoing and I love that there are doggy treats and water at the office. My dog loves it too. Four stars because of the ridiculous amount of people who don’t pick up after their dogs, and the inadequate notice of anything with my utilities.
